GTTC Elite, July, 2018
This workout was done just last week in very hot conditions…but that’s to be expected for the summer time in Dallas. Ryan and Eddy are racing this coming weekend with fellow GTTC Elite-team member, Jake Powers…it’s just a rust-buster, local XC Relay of 3 x 2 miles. Kelsey is training for the USATF 20K Championships in September.
For both groups this was just another strength session in the summer…meant to be highly aerobic and not overly stressful. However, with the weather and duration it was going to be harder than planned.
Both groups handled the task with professionalism and came away with a really positive day and some increased confidence.
It’s been fun getting to watch the group workout together and excited to see what each of these athletes will do this summer.
